Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using NameKit, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Service description
NameKit provides free, AI-powered naming generators for developers, founders, and creators. For each request, a generator returns eight name suggestions along with a short rationale for each one, produced by the Google Gemini API based on the information you provide.
AI-generated output and no live availability checking
Suggestions are generated by an AI model and are intended as brainstorming assistance only — not legal advice, and not a verification that any name is available, original, or free to use. NameKit does not check live trademark registries, domain availability, company registries, package registries (such as npm or PyPI), app-store listings, or code-hosting platforms before showing you a suggestion. A suggested name may already be registered, trademarked, or in use elsewhere.
Your responsibility
Before adopting any generated name, you are responsible for independently checking domain availability, trademark registrations in relevant jurisdictions, existing company names, package-registry namespaces, app-store listings, and code repositories. NameKit makes no guarantee of uniqueness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Permitted and prohibited use
You may use NameKit for personal and commercial projects. You may not use NameKit to generate content that is illegal or harmful, to automate mass scraping or bulk generation intended to abuse the service, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or in any way that violates Google's Gemini API usage policies.
Availability, limits, and changes
NameKit is provided free of charge and does not require an account. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or issues with third-party providers, and temporary technical or usage limits may be applied to protect the service from abuse. We may modify, restrict, or discontinue any part of NameKit at any time without prior notice.
Third-party services
NameKit relies on third-party services to operate, including the Google Gemini API for generating results and, once approved, Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of NameKit is also subject to the applicable terms and policies of these third parties, which NameKit does not control.
Disclaimer of warranties
NameKit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that generated names are unique, accurate, available, or suitable for your intended use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NameKit and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of business, trademark disputes, or costs of rebranding — arising from your use of the service or reliance on generated results.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of NameKit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
